Here we tell you how to link these two functions and start making calls.
How to link to Skype and Alexa
Before you can make calls, you need to link your Alexa device with your Skype account. First, go to Amazon’s Alexa App (you can download the app on Android or iOS ).
Go to Settings> Communication> Skype. Then, log in to the Microsoft account you use for Skype.
How to use Alexa to make a call
Once everything is set up, all you need to do is ask Alexa to call your contacts. Just make sure you specify that you want to use Skype. For example, “Alexa, call mom on Skype.”
You can also dial a phone number by saying reciting them. For example, “Alexa, call 1 000 456 1111 on Skype.”
Keep in mind that you can not make emergency calls on Skype, so do not use this service as a replacement for a regular phone.
